Our client is a global firm providing a range of products and services. The company is seeking a Director Human Resources in the Consumer Division.
Essential Responsibilities:
In working with the Senior HR Team, this split responsibility role has been created to support Global Consumer HR initiatives as well as manage the global Target Setting Process and manage the online system. The responsibilities related to the HR global Consumer Division include managing Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Succession Planning,Target Setting, Key strategic projects, and Tactical initiatives. The responsibilities related to the HR global Target Setting role is managing the global target setting process including responsibility of the target tracking and monitoring, bonus, HR dashboard for the organization.
Global Consumer:
- Working with the Sr. HR team, will lead and manage a multitude of HR initiatives across the Global Consumer Division
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership to client group to ensure the HR function is an effective business partner in achieving business results
- Advise and direct respective client groups on HR related matters related to company policy and enforcement law and applicable federal, state, and local laws in the US.
- Manages planning and execution of strategic and tactical HR projects and processes across the Global Consumer Division locations including EMEA, America’s and Asia
- Manage HR KPI’s for Consumer Division
Global Target Setting:
- Drive our Global Target Setting process for Harman Group to support business objectives and act as Subject Matter Expert
- Lead the tracking and monitoring of business financial and individuals targets globally
- Ownership of all targets and employee data for the Target Setting Process within the online Talent Management System for 2500+ salaried employees globally
- Co-manage the global bonus program with HR rewards
- Support Global Learning and Development on key continuous improvement programs
- Manage HR Corporate dashboard compiling and reporting data monthly
Basic Qualifications:

Four year degree/or equivalent in an accredited university in Business, Human Resources or related field

8 + years HR professional related experience

Strong knowledge of employment law in United States

Individual must possess good technical skills and aptitude to operate and manage Microsoft Office, ERP systems HR and Finance
